The Ozarks!

Paul and I spent the past five days in Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains. We stayed in two different spots, Mountain View and Withrow Springs State Park, near Huntsville. We had a fantastic time enjoying the spring weather. I tried to make a slideshow of some of Paul's pictures. I hope it works!

We are now in Kansas and boy, is it cold!!! And windy! Tomorrow we take our class for KCBS judging certification. We are excited! I even have a new notebook!

Talk to you soon.

I think it worked!! Beautiful pictures, aren't the Ozarks incredible? We went to a huge bbq contest here today in Venice. We both knew you both, Kevin, and Chad would have enjoyed it. We didn't eat much as I have food here that has to be eaten before we leave. Tomorrow we are meeting Janisses and Noreens for brunch here at PP. Have all the clothes shrunk wrapped, packing the car tomorrow, hope to be on the road by 5:30 Monday. Mary should be home by now, Gary took her to the airport, they left here at 5 this morning. Gary said I should enjoy the 90 degree temps here as it won't last.

Nice work! You are better w/ technology than I am! Looks like you had an amazing time! How cool to find a street name w/ your last name on it! I don't think I will ever find that. ;)

It's freaking cold here. And blustery. Waking up to snow covered grass was downright depressing. Looking forward to having you back here as it will be another reason to keep me here. The list is pretty short these days....

Fancy, spancy! Color me impressed! And to see flowers in bloom, green trees and sunshine is just so exciting! Please bring some of that beautiful springtime weather with you! Glad you didn't get any damage from the storms, but understand it was pretty wicked a few nights for you! We have snow on the ground again this morning, but shall not complain!
